Terms of Use

Last updated: July 29, 2026

LifeCord · Your life, connected.

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the LifeCord application (“LifeCord”, “service”). By using the service, you agree to these terms.

LifeCord is a life organization app offering a personal workspace, tasks, notes, calendar, finance tracking, and couple / family shared spaces. Primary address: https://www.lifecord.store.

This text is a product-ready draft; it is not a substitute for independent legal advice.

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account, signing in, or otherwise using the service, you accept these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Service description

LifeCord may provide a personal dashboard / workspace, task and note management, habits and goals, calendar, finance records, notifications, and (depending on your memberships) couple / family workspace collaboration.

The feature set may change over time. Paid subscription or billing terms are not defined in this text; if such a system is introduced, it will be announced separately.

3. Account responsibility

You are responsible for activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate and current information, keep your password / session secure, and promptly report unauthorized access.

You may revoke sessions from device or session management. Signing out on shared devices is your responsibility.

4. Allowed use

You may use the service only in compliance with law, respectfully of others’ rights, and consistent with LifeCord’s purpose.

5. Prohibited use

The following are prohibited:

  • Attempting to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the service or infrastructure.
  • Spreading malware, committing fraud, or impersonation.
  • Accessing others’ accounts, workspaces, or data without permission.
  • Blocking the service through automated scraping / abuse (except reasonable personal use and legitimate integrations).
  • Hosting illegal content or facilitating illegal activities.

6. Workspace collaboration and shared data

In couple and family workspaces, members may view or edit tasks, plans, shopping, shared finance, and activity.

You are responsible for content you add to a shared space and for access you grant other members. Check workspace members and permissions before sharing sensitive information.

Leaving a membership or deleting an account may not mean immediate full deletion from other members’ copies or historical records.

7. User content and data ownership

Content you create belongs to you. You grant LifeCord a limited processing license necessary to provide, sync, and back up the service (where implemented) and to fulfill exports you request.

This license does not grant a general right to sell your content or use it for advertising.

8. Third-party integrations

Google Calendar, Gmail (when enabled), smart-home systems, and similar integrations are optional and depend on your authorization. Availability, quotas, and policies of those services belong to third parties.

Integrations may fail due to external provider outages, revoked permissions, API changes, or misconfiguration. LifeCord does not guarantee uninterrupted operation in these cases.

9. Service availability and limitations

LifeCord is provided “as is.” Uninterrupted, error-free, or delay-free service is not promised.

Beta or experimental features may change or be removed. Real-time updates, offline queues, and synchronization depend on network conditions, device state, and infrastructure limits. Last-write / conflict resolution may not be perfect in every scenario.

Backup and export features are supportive tools; they are not by themselves a complete disaster-recovery guarantee. Regular export of important data is recommended.

10. Finance features — disclaimer

Finance features are for personal tracking and information. They are not investment, tax, accounting, legal, or professional financial advice. You are responsible for your decisions.

11. Smart home — disclaimer

Smart-home actions and statuses depend on third-party systems and your configuration. LifeCord is not liable for outcomes arising from incorrect automation, device failure, or external service errors.

12. AI / intelligence features — disclaimer

LifeCord may include current or future “quiet intelligence”, suggestion, or automation features. These are assistive; they are not definitive, complete, or professional advice. Evaluate outputs at your own responsibility.

13. Intellectual property

The LifeCord brand, interface design, software, and related materials belong to the Application operator or its licensors. Unauthorized copying, reverse engineering (except as permitted by law), or brand misuse is prohibited.

14. Suspension and termination

Your account may be suspended or terminated in case of terms violations, security risk, or legal obligation. You may also request account closure.

After account deletion, data is handled according to retention rules in the Privacy Policy. Legal retention or security backups may remain.

15. Disclaimer of warranties

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided without any express or implied warranty, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

16. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Application operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages; nor for data loss, integration outages, or third-party errors. Mandatory consumer rights remain reserved.

17. Changes to terms

These terms may be updated. The “Last updated” date will change. Reasonable notice will be attempted for material changes. Continued use after an update may constitute acceptance.

18. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Mandatory consumer protection provisions remain reserved. Disputes may be heard by Turkish courts / competent authorities; mandatory rules take precedence where they require otherwise.
