Frequently asked questions
Clear answers about Beta, sync, Gmail, Calendar, privacy, and investments.
What is LifeCord?
LifeCord is a life management app that brings tasks, notes, calendar, habits, and personal finance into one panel, with optional couple and family workspaces.
What problem does it solve?
It gathers scattered lists, calendars, and shared household work into one calm workspace and helps you stay in sync across devices.
How do I use it alone?
Create a free account and set up your personal board. Tasks, notes, calendar, habits, and finance records stay in your personal space.
How do I use it as a couple or family?
Create a couple or family workspace and invite members. Shared tasks, plans, and family finance are visible according to workspace membership.
Do my data sync across devices?
Yes. When you’re signed in, cloud sync aims to keep your personal data up to date on supported devices. Delays can occur during network or third-party outages.
How does Google Calendar connection work?
It’s optional. When you connect your Google account, LifeCord only uses the calendar access you authorize — and you can revoke it.
What does the finance feature do?
It’s for personal tracking and information. It helps you keep transaction and budget records; it is not investment, tax, or professional financial advice. Investment prices are not always live.
How does Gmail connection work?
Gmail connection is optional. LifeCord only reads what you authorize for inbox widgets and does not use Google data for ads. You can revoke access anytime.
Is my data safe?
We use session security, access controls, and encrypted storage of external integration tokens where implemented. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
Can I start for free?
Yes. Create an account and start using LifeCord. Paid plan terms are not defined in this text; they’ll be announced separately if added.
